Introduction

Lunary Cloud runs open-source business applications — CRMs, automation platforms, document tools — as managed services. You pick the application; we provision it, keep it updated, back it up, monitor it, and respond when something breaks.

What "managed" means here

Every service you run with us is:

• Its own instance on Canadian infrastructure. Your data stays in Canada.
• Observed, not assumed. An agent on the VM reports health to our control plane. The dashboard and the API show the same state our operators see.
• Operable by you. Backups, syncs, and restarts are actions in the dashboard and calls in the API, not support tickets.
• Portable. Your data lives in standard open-source applications. Exports and migration help are part of the service.

Terms used in these docs

Term	Meaning
Instance	One running service — for example, your n8n or NocoBase.
Plug	An operation available on an instance: a backup, a data sync, a restart.
Run	One execution of a plug, with step-by-step logs and any files it produced.
Artifact	A file a run produced (a database dump, an export), downloadable on demand.
Routine	A named, saved operation on an instance, optionally on a schedule.
